A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy’s shoulders to let him know the world hasn’t ended.
this was the worst moment in the movie because it was so fucking cheesy and jarring
this was the worst moment in the movie and i groaned REALLY LOUDLY because it was stupid as hell and using the name dick, jason or tim could have been A LOT SUBTLER AND LESS OBNOXIOUS

252. The Dark Knight Rises (Christopher Nolan, 2012)
Regardless of the really minor issues I had with this movie, I really found it to be pretty fantastic. Not everyone will like it, and some people will hate it, but I thought it was easily one of the most fulfilling movies I’ve seen in a long time. Not only does it prove to be a wonderful finale to the series, which is so rarely ever done with sequels, but Nolan proves again that in drawing from the comics that kept Batman alive during rough times, he can create an original and engaging story that will please millions of fans.
Plus, his writing for Selina Kyle is perfect, so at the bare minimum of reasons to go watch this, there’s that. I will probably write more about the movie later in an enormous post on YAM or something about Batman, but that’ll be in a long while. For now, just know that I loved this movie, not because it’s beyond perfection like many claim, but because it’s an extremely satisfying watch. [4/5]
