232. Escape From Tomorrow (Randy Moore, 2013)
I’m a little lost for words on this one because it’s late as heck and it was strange as hell. Fascinatingly flawed, definitely needs a rewatch. To copy and paste something I said earlier: Speaking as someone who practically used to live at Disney World and still adores it to death, Escape From Tomorrow’s editing and photography and music genuinely makes this place look and feel scarily unfamiliar and enhances so many of the little unsettling things you always noticed but chose to ignore. It’s an incredibly odd dark comedy, but it’s certainly interesting.
