Tagged: i may or may not have a screenplay about a stripper, i just really really really really love female protagonists, and i think stripping is probably one of the most intriguing jobs you could work with for a character, leave me alone i just have a lot of feelings about interesting female leads!!!, .

I hope you all know I’ve actually sat here and rewatched the stripping scene from Jolene about ten times since I finished the movie because I’m genuinely in love with it and this is exactly how I’ve always dreamed of directing a scene with a woman dancing on stage.
