63. Jolene (Dan Ireland, 2008)
Jessica Chastain needs to start being the most perfect human being of all time because I really can’t handle it. She needs more lead roles in her life instead of these supporting performances she’s been getting. I can’t understand how anyone in this world can watch her acting in Jolene and not think, “THAT’S OUR STAR!!!!!!!!”
The acting, the story, the direction, the music - everything about this was just fantastic. I can’t understand how more people haven’t seen this truly marvelous movie. It’s a character study for the ages and Jessica Chastain proves that she is a goddamn chameleon of an actress with just this one character.
