Movies Watched in 2012 40. Chico & Rita (Tono Errando, Javier Mariscal & Fernando Trueba, 2010) This animated film came as a surprising treat to me. The animation was interesting and appealing, although some of the nudity was a little gratuitous during one scene in particular. The music though! The music was absolutely glorious! It guided the movie in a way I didn’t really except. That and the nods to classic Hollywood films were just wonderfully appealing to me, making this my personal runner-up for its Oscar category.
